Tacoma Public Schools is seeking a floater paraeducator to support Early Learning across elementary locations in the district. The position emphasizes assisting with instruction, classroom routines, child growth, and family involvement, with a flexible daily schedule.

The role is temporary for the 2026-2027 school year, starting November 2026, with benefits and duties aligned to the Early Learning program standards and performance measures.

Competenze

• Assistance with individual and group instruction to promote growth.
• Assist in curriculum planning and daily activities.
• Assist with child screenings and data entry in assessment systems.
• Model and monitor behavior to support positive learning.
• Supervise and escort children as needed.
• Prepare daily routines and classroom setup.
• Promote family involvement and parent education services.
• Participate in home visits and family conferences as scheduled.
• Train volunteers and support enrollment activities.
• Maintain attendance and confidential records as required.
