Job summary

AlphaBEST Education, Inc. is seeking a Group Leader Assistant to support before- and after-school programs across multiple locations in Virginia. The role offers part-time hours with morning and/or afternoon shifts, a pay range of $14.00–$15.00 per hour, and benefits including health, dental, and vision insurance.

You will help implement curriculum activities, prioritize child safety, maintain an orderly space, and foster inclusive, supportive relationships with students, families, and staff.

Qualifications

• Requires the ability to work with children in a structured, high-energy environment.
• Must follow child safety procedures and pass background checks.
• Flexible, reliable, and ready to assist wherever needed in the program.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily curriculum activities (World Languages, STEAM, Fitness, Maker, Arts) to encourage positive peer interactions.
• Prioritize child safety at all times.
• Keep the space clean and organized.
• Help create an environment where kids feel supported and included.
• Build strong relationships with teammates, kids, families, and school staff.
