Job summary

About Play seeks an Early Interventionist to serve in Coastal/Horry counties of South Carolina. The role requires a bachelor’s degree in education/child development or related field and at least 1 year of experience with children birth to six.

On-the-road position with travel up to 75% to various Conway, Myrtle Beach, Georgetown, and nearby areas. Responsibilities include delivering early intervention services, partnering with families, and documenting progress.

Qualifications

• Minimum requirements are a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education, Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Social Work, Psychology, Sociology, Family & Consumer Science, or any related field.
• Plus 1 year of experience working with children birth to six years old; prior early interventionist experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide early intervention services to children birth to six years in South Carolina counties.
• Support and coach families to promote child development and participation in daily routines.
• Travel up to 75% to serve multiple areas; manage schedule and documentation.

Prior early interventionist, teaching and early child development experience preferred or recent & upcoming college graduate with a degree in a related field and a willingness for on-the-job training.

Experience
