Job summary

About Play is seeking an Early Interventionist to serve in multiple areas of South Carolina. The role supports families and children ages birth to six who have developmental delays or disabilities.

Work schedule is Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM with up to 75% travel. Salary is $35,000 per year plus mileage reimbursement; benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, and 401K. COVID-19 vaccination is required upon hire. Must reside in the listed counties or surrounding areas in South Carolina.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education, Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Social Work, Psychology, Sociology, Family & Consumer Science, or related field.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience working with children birth to six years old (prior early intervention experience preferred).
  • Preferred: prior early interventionist, teaching, and early child development experience; or a recent and upcoming college graduate with a related degree and willingness for on-the-job training.
  • Driver's license with reliable transportation; CPR, First Aid, and AED certification preferred.

  • Collaborate with families to support developmental goals and family empowerment.
  • Maintain timely documentation and manage caseloads with strong time management and organizational skills.

Florence, Darlington, Marion, Lake City, Olanta and surrounding areas. Coordinates with the counties listed and nearby communities in South Carolina.
