Job summary

Riverside Community Care is seeking a Mental Health Consultant for the Early Head Start program. The role focuses on providing consultation, training, and mental health support to staff and families within the program.

Services are delivered through in-person consultations and virtual sessions as needed, in collaboration with home visitors, supervisors, and the Program Director. The MHC will lead staff trainings, conduct family consultations, and ensure holistic care with a social sustainability

Qualifications

• Master's degree in behavioral health required.
• Independent licensure (LICSW, LMHC, or LMFT) required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to facilitate conversations virtually.
• Ability to work independently and with a team.
• Demonstrated presentation and facilitation skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide consultation to Early Head Start staff.
• Deliver training sessions on mental health (approx. 2 per year).
• Meet monthly with home visitors (2 hours).
• Meet with home visitors and management to review caseload once per year.
• Conduct joint visits and provide referrals for mental health needs.
