CLACKAMAS COUNTY CHILDREN’S COMMISSION, INC. is seeking a Classroom Aide to support the Teacher and Assistant Teacher in early childhood classrooms in Oregon. You will help deliver daily activities, monitor behavior, and prepare materials to meet high quality standards.
The role requires a high school diploma or GED, and preferably a CDA or willingness to complete one within a year. You’ll work under the Education Manager and engage families from diverse backgrounds while ensuring safety and
GENERAL OBJECTIVE:To assist the Teacher and Assistant Teacher in providing and coordinating classroom services to families enrolled in the assigned classroom; to assist the Teacher and Assistant Teacher to ensure high quality early childhood education standards are met; to help ensure that Clackamas County Children’s Commission policies and procedures are followed.
REPORTS TO:Education Manager; also takes direction from Teacher
SUPERVISES:No direct reports
CLASSIFICATION: Non-exempt; Represented
