Job summary

Seven Hills Foundation-affiliated Children’s Aid & Family Services is seeking a Day Care Assistant Teacher to support the classroom under the guidance of the Lead Teacher. The role emphasizes a safe, nurturing environment and structured activities aligned with the center’s plan.

Responsibilities include assisting with weekly lesson plans, participating in staff meetings, and taking on designated center duties.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED/HiSET required.
• Standard driver’s license – class C or class D.
• CPR/First Aid required.
• One year of related experience.

• Assist to provide children with a safe, and nurturing classroom environment.
• Interact positively with children at all times throughout the day, following the Centers' Behavior Management Plan.
• Prepare with the Teacher/Lead Teacher weekly lesson plans and activities as assigned.
• Attend all staff and team meetings, and trainings as required and assigned.
• Take on assignments as designated outside the classroom for the benefit of the center as a whole (i.e. bus monitor, housekeeping duties, kitchen duties, answering phones).

Pay: 19.50-20.50

Schedule: Monday through Friday 7a-4p or 830a-530p
