Job summary

Bright Horizons in Albany, NY seeks a Teacher to foster early learning in infants, toddlers, and preschoolers. The role offers full-time and part-time schedules with opportunities to pursue a CDA or college degree at no cost.

As a Bright Horizons Teacher, you will create hands-on activities, communicate with families, and maintain a safe, clean classroom while meeting state and company requirements.

Qualifications

• Must pass required state and company background checks and be at least 18 with a high school diploma or GED.
• Minimum of 9 credits in related college-level early education coursework or CDA.
• Associate or bachelor’s degree in early education or related field is preferred.
• 1 year of professional experience teaching in child care, daycare, or preschool settings is preferred.
• Demonstrated knowledge of developmentally appropriate practice (DAP) is required.

Responsibilities

• Create hands-on activities to meet the needs and interests of the children.
• Maintain open communication with parents, sharing their child's daily milestones.
• Ensure a safe and clean classroom by following essential procedures and guidelines.
