Job summary

Bright Horizons is hiring an Assistant Teacher to support hands-on activities and engage with children in our early education centers. The role involves communicating with parents about daily milestones and maintaining a safe, clean classroom environment.

The position may require coverage across different classrooms or locations as needed. The ideal candidate has 1 year in child care or preschool settings, plus a high school diploma or GED; additional CDA/Associate/Bachelor’s in early education

Qualifications

• 18 years of age with a high school diploma or GED is required
• 1 year of experience in child care/preschool settings is preferred
• CDA, Associate, or bachelor's degree in early education or related field is preferred

Responsibilities

• Assist with hands-on activities to meet the needs and interests of the children
• Maintain open communication with parents, sharing their child's daily milestones
• Ensure a safe and clean classroom by following essential procedures and guidelines
• Provide support in any classroom or age group where teaching coverage is needed across a center or in nearby locations
