Job summary

Bright Horizons is hiring an Assistant Teacher to support infants, toddlers, and preschoolers. This in-person role at our Chicago-area centers offers full-time and part-time schedules, with opportunities to pursue a CDA or college degree at no cost.

You will assist with activities, communicate with families, and help maintain a safe classroom while providing coverage across centers as needed.

Qualifications

• Must pass state and company background checks.
• Minimum 18 years old with a HS diploma or GED.
• 1 year of childcare experience preferred.
• CDA/Associate/Bachelor in early education preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with hands-on activities to meet children’s needs and interests.
• Maintain open communication with parents about daily milestones.
• Ensure a safe, clean classroom by following procedures and guidelines.
• Provide support across classrooms or centers as needed.
