Bright Horizons is hiring an Assistant Teacher to support infants, toddlers and preschoolers at our Wilmington-area centers. This full-time role offers hands-on activities, daily parent communication, and a safe, organized classroom environment.

You will have opportunities to pursue a CDA or college degree at no cost, while contributing to a caring, child-focused team. Compensation is hourly with benefits and growth potential.

Qualifications

• Candidates must be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or GED.
• Demonstrated experience working with children required; child care, daycare, or preschool preferred.
• Early childhood coursework (TECE 1 & 2 or ECE credits) is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with hands-on activities to meet the needs and interests of the children.
• Communicate daily with parents and document milestones in the child’s day.
• Keep the classroom safe and clean by following procedures and guidelines.
