Job summary

Ohel Children’s Home and Family Services in Far Rockaway, NY seeks a warm, empathetic licensed mental health clinician to provide early childhood therapy for children under five and their caregivers.

LMHC/LCSW/LMSW or related license required; Masters degree; minimum two years of experience with young children and families; ability to collaborate with schools; two evenings or one Sunday per week; on-site position in Far Rockaway; full- or part-time.

Qualifications

• Valid license or limited permit in New York state required (MSW, LMSW, LCSW, LMHC, MHC, LMFT, MFT)
• 2 years’ experience delivering therapy to young children and families
• Masters degree or higher required

Responsibilities

• Maintain a caseload providing individual, group, and family psychotherapy on-site to children ages 0-5 and families
• Utilize evidence-based practice models to ensure efficacy and quality of treatment
• Foster collaborative relationships with families, using a strength-based approach
• Coordinate with schools and other child-serving systems to align care
• Complete all required documentation in a timely and professional manner
