Job summary

Gan Yeladim Early Childhood Center of Stamford, part of CHABAD LUBAVITCH OF STAMFORD INC, is seeking a Morah to lead a warm classroom for children aged 6 weeks to 5 years. You will plan meaningful, play-based experiences and support development in a nurturing environment.

Hebrew is not required, but you will help infuse Jewish culture and community in daily learning, while collaborating with families and a dedicated team on a flexible schedule and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience working with young children (infants to age 5)
• Energy, empathy, and creativity brought into the classroom daily
• Reliable, responsible, and consistent in presence and care
• Believe in learning through play, connection, and discovery
• Team-oriented, solution-focused, flexible when plans change

What You'll Be Doing

Every day, you'll nurture our little learners (ages 6 weeks to 5 years) through meaningful, play-based experiences that support their confidence, creativity, and connection. You'll be the steady, joyful presence that makes the classroom feel like a second home.

• Have coursework or certification in Early Childhood Education or Child Development
• Are familiar with Reggio Emilia, emergent curriculum, or Jewish education
• Are CPR/First Aid certified
• Speak Hebrew or have experience in a Jewish setting (not required, but awesome!)

Position Details, Salary & Perks

Schedule Options:

• Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM (35 hours/week)
• Or Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM (40 hours/week) Choose the schedule that best fits your lifestyle-we're flexible!

Contract Options:

• Full-Time | 10-month or 12-month

Salary Range:

• $50,000-$65,000

Final salary is based on total hours worked, contract length, experience, and professional credentials.
