Job summary

Kids 'R' Kids of Waterside in Richmond, TX is seeking a passionate Early Childhood Teacher to join our caring team. This role covers infants through after-school care, shaping young minds in a safe, fun, and stimulating environment where each child can thrive.

You will plan age-appropriate lessons, monitor developmental milestones, document progress, and communicate regularly with families while collaborating with fellow teachers to support the center's goals and uphold high-quality care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• CDA credential or degree in Early Childhood Education preferred.
• Prior experience in a daycare, preschool, or early childhood setting strongly preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification required or willingness to obtain.
• Ability to pass a background check in accordance with state childcare regulations.
• Warm, patient, and enthusiastic demeanor with a genuine love for working with young children.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with both children and parents.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities aligned with early childhood development standards
• Create a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom environment for children in your care
• Monitor and document children's developmental milestones and progress
• Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding their child's growth and daily activities
• Supervise children during indoor and outdoor play, meals, and rest times
• Maintain a clean, organized, and child-friendly classroom
• Collaborate with fellow teachers and staff to support the overall curriculum and center goals
