Job summary

Early Connections Learning Centers in Colorado Springs, CO, seeks an Early Childhood Teacher to join our on-site team. You will collaborate with the Lead Teacher to create joyful, inclusive learning experiences and ensure alignment with CDHS licensing, NAEYC standards, and our policies.

You will support children's social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development, work with families, document progress, and promote health and safety while maintaining a welcoming classroom environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in early childhood education settings.
• Knowledge of Colorado licensing requirements and NAEYC standards is desirable.
• Ability to build supportive relationships with children and families.
• Strong observation and documentation skills to inform individualized learning.

Responsibilities

• Create a joyful, engaging classroom where every child feels known and valued.
• Plan and implement meaningful learning experiences aligned with developmentally appropriate practice.
• Collaborate with the Lead Teacher to design activities that support growth across developmental domains.
• Lead with confidence in the Lead Teacher’s absence to maintain consistency of care.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and inviting learning environment compliant with licensing standards.
• Engage families as partners through effective communication and family events.
