Community Action Wayne/Medina (CAW/M) in Wooster, Ohio seeks a caring, dependable Teacher to join Creative Kids in Medina. The role is part-year, full-time, non-exempt, with Monday–Thursday shifts totaling 34 hours per week across approximately 44 weeks per year.

The position offers a competitive hourly wage of $15.69 to $18.70. You will support young children’s development in a collaborative classroom, focusing on social, emotional, cognitive, and physical growth while engaging families.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent required or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum of one year of experience in early childhood education or related childcare setting.
• Valid Ohio driver's license and ability to meet insurability requirements.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential.

Aufgaben

• Assist in developing and implementing developmentally appropriate classroom plans for children.
• Support curriculum and learning experiences that promote social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development.
• Help create engaging learning environments based on early childhood education best practices.
• Incorporate Conscious Discipline techniques into daily classroom routines.
• Plan and implement literacy experiences for children and their families.
• Assist with field trips, end-of-year activities, kindergarten transitions, and other events.
