Job summary

The Sunshine House, Inc. in Mauldin, SC is hiring a Childcare Teacher to provide safe, nurturing care and age-appropriate learning experiences for our preschool children. Family-centered communication and daily updates help families stay connected as you support early development.

This role starts at $15 per hour with regular increases for education, performance and tenure. Part-time positions qualify for a robust benefits package including health insurance options, retirement plan and paid time

Qualifications

• Pass background checks and health assessments.
• Able to lift up to 30 pounds for child safety.
• At least 30 days paid teaching experience in a DSS licensed daycare setting.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• ECD 101 or degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure a safe, healthy, and nurturing learning environment.
• Create an engaging classroom where children can learn, play and grow.
• Support children’s social and emotional development.
• Foster a love of learning.
• Build strong partnerships with families through daily app updates and personal discussions.
