Job summary

Bright Horizons is seeking a full-time Teacher for infants, toddlers, or preschoolers in a Bright Horizons center. You will create hands-on activities, communicate with families about daily milestones, and maintain a safe, clean classroom following Bright Horizons procedures.

The role requires background checks, is based in Wisconsin, and candidates must meet WI state qualifications (EC1/EC2/Infant-Toddler) or hold an AA/BA in Early Childhood Education or CDA. School coursework in ECE is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must pass state and company background checks.
• 18 years of age with a high school diploma or GED.
• Must meet State of WI teacher qualifications: EC1/EC2/Infant-Toddler classes OR AA/BA in Early Childhood Education or CDA.
• College-level coursework in early childhood education, CDA, or an associate or bachelor’s degree in early education or related field preferred.
• 1 year of professional teaching experience in child care, daycare, or preschool settings preferred.
• Demonstrated knowledge of developmentally appropriate practice (DAP) required.

Responsibilities

• Create hands-on activities to meet the needs and interests of the children.
• Maintain open communication with parents, sharing their child's daily milestones.
• Ensure a safe and clean classroom by following essential procedures and guidelines.
