Job summary

New Horizon Academy Iowa, Inc. seeks energetic teachers to inspire and educate young children in a caring environment in West Des Moines, IA. You will join a team dedicated to nurturing and guiding students across a full-day schedule.

We offer a wage range of $16.10-$21.35 per hour, with eligibility for Child Care Assistance and the WAGE$ program. Availability for shifts between 6:30am and 6:00pm is required, and opportunities for career growth are provided.

Qualifications

• Meets or exceeds state qualifications for the listed position.
• Has a passion for working with young children.
• Has interest in beginning or continuing their education in early childhood education or a related field.
• Can satisfy the Applicant Background Study required by state regulations.
• Has the documentation of U.S. citizenship or eligibility to work in the U.S.
• Has the physical abilities to perform the required job duties with or without accommodations.
• Has the ability to communicate effectively with children, families, and staff, as well as to understand state licensing regulations and company policies.
