Job summary

Bright Horizons is seeking a Teacher to support infants, toddlers, and preschoolers in a Nashville, TN area center. The role offers both full-time and part-time hours, with on-site responsibilities delivering developmentally appropriate curriculum and daily care.

You will create engaging activities, communicate with families about progress, and uphold safety and cleanliness standards. The company supports growth with Horizons CDA and degree programs at no cost.

Qualifications

• Must pass required state and company background checks
• High school diploma or GED is required
• College-level coursework in ECE or related degree is preferred
• 1 year of professional teaching experience in child care, daycare, or preschool is preferred
• Demonstrated knowledge of developmentally appropriate practice (DAP) is required

Responsibilities

• Create hands-on activities to meet the needs and interests of the children
• Maintain open communication with parents, sharing daily milestones
• Ensure a safe and clean classroom by following procedures and guidelines
• Provide support in any classroom or age group where teaching coverage is needed across a center or nearby locations
