Job summary

Bright Horizons in Midland, TX is seeking a Teacher for an in-person, full-time role supporting infants, toddlers and preschoolers. You will deliver age-appropriate activities, monitor safety, and collaborate with families to track milestones.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, and college coursework in early childhood education or a CDA, with 1 year of teaching experience preferred. A strong knowledge of developmentally appropriate practice is essential.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ with a high school diploma or GED.
• College-level coursework in early childhood education, CDA, or an associate/bachelor’s degree in early education or related field preferred.
• 1 year of professional experience teaching in child care, daycare, or preschool settings preferred.
• Demonstrated knowledge of developmentally appropriate practice (DAP) required.

Responsibilities

• Create hands-on activities to meet the needs and interests of the children.
• Maintain open communication with parents, sharing their child's daily milestones.
• Ensure a safe and clean classroom by following essential procedures and guidelines.
• Provide support in any classroom or age group where teaching coverage is needed across a center or in nearby locations.
