Job summary

Bright Horizons Clubhouse at West Cary in Cary, NC is seeking a Teacher to join our early childhood team. This role serves toddlers through Preschool with a focus on engaging hands-on activities and family communication.

The schedule is 8:45am to 5:45pm, Monday through Friday, with a pay range of $17.50 to $21.35 per hour and comprehensive benefits. Opportunities for CDA or college degree support at no cost, and career growth within Bright Horizons are included.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or GED is required
• College coursework in early childhood education or CDA-related programs may be required
• 1 year of teaching experience in child care, daycare, or preschool preferred
• Knowledge of developmentally appropriate practice (DAP) required

Responsibilities

• Create hands-on activities to meet children’s needs and interests
• Maintain communication with parents about daily milestones
• Ensure a safe, clean classroom by following guidelines
• Provide support across classrooms or locations when needed
