Job summary

Learning Care Group is hiring a Teacher to support the Lead Teacher in planning daily programs for children, supervise the class when the Lead is away, assist with meals and keeping a clean center. The role emphasizes caring, safety, and a loving, play-based approach to help children become lifelong learners.

Qualifications

Experience working in a licensed childcare facility.
High School diploma or equivalent required.
Coursework or a degree in early childhood education or child development or a CDA.
Ability to meet state/accreditation education/experience requirements.
Flexible hours; must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

Assist Lead Teacher in planning and implementing the daily program for children.
Supervise the classroom when the Lead Teacher is out of the room.
Help with meals and supervise mealtime.
Maintain a clean, orderly classroom and center.
Attend staff trainings and meetings as required.
Assist with prep for activities and model appropriate behavior.
