Position Description:
Teacher assistants/lead teachers for infant, toddler, and 3-5 classrooms in a brand new state-of-the-art Early Learning Center.
Teacher assistants provide the teacher in the classroom with support in regard to daily activities, cleanliness, supervision, curriculum, and assessment. They partner with families to ensure high-quality care and education for young children and support the teacher in maintaining a clean, organized, and child-friendly learning environment in accordance with state regulations.
Teachers work closely with the Center’s Director, Education Coordinator, teachers, and staff to create lesson plans and programs to meet state and federal requirements and parents’ expectations. They manage the classroom, create a safe, healthy, and clean environment for students and staff, set up classroom activities, and partner with the teaching assistant, working as a team to promote a fun and positive environment. They communicate with families and the team regularly to keep up to date on development and progress, including offering support to address any learning or behavioral issues. The lead teachers will work with the Healthtrax General Manager for a seamless transition between teams, supporting each other’s programs and events.

Qualifications:
High School diploma required, Early Childhood Education credits and experience in an early learning center preferred.
