Job summary

Children’s Home & Aid is hiring an Early Childhood Teacher for the Mitzi Freidheim Englewood Child & Family Center. The role uses Head Start, Early Head Start, and Creative Curriculum to promote the growth of children through play and hands-on experiences, with a focus on individualized lesson plans and parent collaboration.

Qualifications include an Associate's Degree in Child Development or CDA with 12+ ECE credits, plus Gateways credentials within 12 months and at least one year of experience

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Child Development or related field with 18+ hours of ECE credits or CDA with enrollment and 12 hours in ECE
• Gateways to Opportunity ECE Level 4 credential within 12 months
• Gateways to Opportunity Infant Toddler Level 4 credential within 12 months
• Minimum 1 year experience working with children and/or families

Responsibilities

• Develop individualized lesson plans and meet with parents to support child outcomes
• Utilize Head Start, Early Head Start, and Creative Curriculum to foster growth
• Be part of a center with NAEYC accreditation and strong supervision
