Brightpoint’s Scott Early Learning Center in Bloomington, IL seeks an Early Childhood Teacher to support 0–3 year olds using Head Start, Early Head Start, and Creative Curriculum. You’ll develop individualized lesson plans and meet with parents to promote children’s growth in a nurturing, inclusive environment.

Requirements include an Associate’s Degree in Child Development or CDA with ECE credits, or enrollment in a related program; Gateways credentials within 12 months; and at least one year

Formación

• Associate's Degree in Child Development or CDA with 18+ ECE credits or CDA with enrollment in a college program and 30 credits completed including 12 in ECE.
• Ability to obtain Illinois Gateways to Opportunity Level 4 credentials within 12 months of employment.
• Minimum of 1 year experience working with children and/or families.

Responsabilidades

• Participates in curriculum implementation to support high-quality teaching and learning reflecting mandated elements and parental/cultural influences.
• Educates children, conducts screenings as required, and documents progress.
• Collaborates with the teaching team to set classroom goals and develop lesson plans.
• Conducts small group, large group, and individualized activities.
• Supervises children to ensure safety in indoor/outdoor environments.
• Maintains knowledge of early education approaches and safety rules on trips and play areas.
• Prepares supplies and environment for activities.
