Brightpoint, now part of El Hogar del Niño in Chicago, seeks an Early Childhood Teacher to support the learning and development of 0-3 year olds using Head Start, Early Head Start, and Creative Curriculum®. You will develop individualized lesson plans and meet with parents to support outcomes for your students.

As part of a NAEYC-accredited center with ExceleRate Gold Circle, you’ll work in a cohesive team with supportive supervision and strong focus on family engagement.

Qualificações

• Requires an Associate's Degree in Child Development or CDA with 30 credit hours completed including 12 hours in ECE.
• Ability to obtain Illinois Gateways to Opportunity Early Childhood Education Level 4 credential within 12 months of employment.
• Ability to obtain Illinois Gateways to Opportunity Infant Toddler Level 4 credential within 12 months of employment.
• Minimum of 1 year experience working with children and/or families; bilingual in English/Spanish preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Participates in classroom curriculum implementation to support high quality teaching and learning practices reflecting mandated elements and parental/cultural influences.
• Responsible for education requirements of children in the assigned classroom, including all required screenings.
• Assesses children and documents results.
• Collaborates with teaching team to establish guidelines and goals for the classroom.
