Job summary

TLC Schools in Plano, TX is hiring for full-time and part-time preschool teaching roles across various age groups. Shifts run 9:00 am–6:00 pm, 12:30 pm–6:30 pm, and 2:30 pm–6:30 pm. Join our team to foster growth through a play-based and phonics-centered curriculum in a warm, supportive environment.

Ideal candidates hold a high school diploma; Associate's or Bachelor's in Early Childhood Education is preferred. CPR/First Aid and abuse neglect training can be obtained on hire.

Qualifications

• Passion for working with children and enhancing learning experiences.
• High school diploma; Associate's or Bachelor's in Early Childhood Education preferred.
• Preschool teaching experience preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification required (can obtain upon hire).
• Completion of abuse and neglect training (can obtain upon hire).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to build rapport with students and families.

Responsibilities

• Actively supervise and engage with students during classroom activities.
• Plan and implement lessons based on the provided curriculum to promote learning and development.
• Create and maintain a safe, positive, and nurturing classroom environment.
• Follow classroom schedules and routines to provide consistency for children.
• Communicate regularly with parents about their children's behavior and academic progress.
• Complete annual training requirements as set by Child Care Licensing.
