Job summary

ECE Subhub is seeking Early Childhood Substitute Teachers to support classrooms serving children ages 0 to 5. Work with your availability to build a weekday schedule, with training and guidance before first classroom assignment.

You will join early childhood teams to create a safe, positive, and engaging environment, assisting with activities, implementing lesson plans, supervising children, and building relationships across staff.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children birth through age 5.
• Associate degree or 18 college credits in ECE, Child Development, Social Work, Human Services, Youth or Family Studies, or Elementary Education.
• Bachelor's or Master's in Social Work, Family/Youth Studies, ECE, Elementary Education with ZA/ZS endorsement, Human Services, or Child Development.
• Current CDA credential; CPR certification preferred (provided if not held).

Responsibilities

• Assist with classroom activities and daily routines.
• Help implement lesson plans.
• Supervise children to keep them safe.
• Build positive relationships with children and staff.
• Maintain a warm and professional classroom presence.

ECE Subhub is hiring Early Childhood Substitute Teachers to support classrooms serving children ages 0 to 5. We work with your availability to build a weekday schedule.

Job Details

• Job Type: Part-time to full-time
• Pay: $15 to $22 per hour
• Schedule: Monday through Friday, daytime shifts between 7:00 am and 6:00 pm
• Minimum availability: At least two weekdays per week
