South St. Paul Public Schools is seeking an Early Childhood Special Education Teacher - Long-Term Sub at Kaposia Elementary School. Position runs 1/19/27–6/4/27 with a prorated salary of $46,744 for BA Step 1.

Responsible for direct instruction and special education case management for 3–5 year olds, aligning with IDEA and state rules. Licensure in Minnesota for ECSE or eligible for permission is required; collaborate with families, staff, and paraprofessionals, and support student learning

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Special Education or related field.
• Current Minnesota teaching license in Early Childhood Special Education or eligible for permission/licensure pathway.

Responsibilities

• Provide instruction and case management for 3 to 5 year old students with disabilities.
• Complete due process including IEPs, evaluations, and related reports.
• Collaborate with families and staff to develop individualized programs.
• Assist in implementing instructional modifications and accommodations.
