Job summary

St. Peter Early Childhod Center seeks an Early Childhood Special Education Program Paraprofessional to assist licensed ECSE and preschool teachers in preparing and implementing educational programming for ages 3–5.

The role supports individualized instruction, helps with personal care and behavior guidance in a classroom setting, and follows the teacher's lead throughout the day. Monday–Thursday, 7:45 AM–3:00 PM, with a 30-minute unpaid lunch.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required with 2 years post-secondary education or passing paraprofessional exam.

Responsibilities

• Assist licensed ECSE and preschool teachers in preparing and implementing educational programming.
• Support individualized instruction for young learners (ages 3–5).
• Provide personal care and behavioral guidance in a classroom environment.
