Job summary

Lutheran Services Florida (LSF) is seeking an ECE Program Support Specialist to assist in classroom, kitchen, and bus activities and support children with special needs when required. The role involves collaboration with preschool staff, ensuring safety, nutrition, and supportive learning environments across site locations in Florida.

The position is entry-level, with bilingual English/Spanish preferred, and requires strong communication, basic math, and the ability to follow directions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Entry-level position.
• Bilingual preferred: English/Spanish or other local languages.

Responsibilities

• Assist classroom staff in all classroom activities and field trips.
• Develop materials and activities related to the cultural backgrounds of children and families served.
• Help supervise at mealtime to encourage good nutrition and social skills.
• Keep the classroom clean and orderly.
• Assist preschool teacher with various tasks including family nights, newsletters, calls, and materials.
