Job summary

KinderCare seeks a Center Leadership role to ensure our curriculum is delivered as intended and educators can articulate children’s learnings. This position will spend a large portion of time in the classroom educating children, mentoring teachers, and partnering with parents to provide outstanding early childhood education.

The role also involves training and leading staff, assisting with hiring, and driving center success through enrollment and accreditation efforts.

Qualifications

• Must build relationships with families and coworkers to create a dynamic play- and discovery-filled environment.
• Demonstrates outstanding customer service skills.
• Preferred: Approved State Trainer.
• Preferred knowledge of NAEYC/NAC and state licensing.
• Must meet state-specific guidelines for the role.
• Physically able to use a computer, lift 40 pounds, and work indoors or outdoors.
• Able to engage with children safely and communicate with parents in English.

Responsibilities

• Ensure curriculum is presented as intended and teachers can discuss what children are learning.
• Spend 75% of time in the classroom educating children and mentoring teachers.
• Partner with parents to support best care and education for children.
• Train, motivate, and lead staff; assist center management with interviewing and hiring.
• Support center goals around enrollment, accreditation, and operations.
