Greater Seacoast Health is seeking an Early Childhood Mental Health and Development Specialist in Somersworth & Portsmouth, NH. A Licensed Clinical Social Worker or Mental Health Counselor will provide birth-to-six assessment, development support, and caregiver guidance in an integrated care setting.

Join a multidisciplinary Behavioral Health team to implement evidence-based, Zero to Three Healthy Steps model and collaborate with medical providers to help families access needed resources.

Qualifikationen

• Master's degree from an accredited university in Social Work or Mental Health Counseling.
• Active, unencumbered New Hampshire license to practice Independent Social Work or Mental Health Counseling.
• At least 2 years of experience working with children within your licensed scope of practice.
• Current BLS certification.

Aufgaben

• Assess the development and needs of children birth through age 8.
• Provide intervention strategies, caregiver education, and support.
• Support healthy caregiver-child relationships and perinatal mental health care.
• Provide early childhood mental health intervention using trauma-informed relational-development principles.
• Collaborate with primary care, social work, and behavioral health teams to integrate services.
• Assist in tracking outcomes and data for program and grant requirements.
