Job summary

Bright Horizons Massachusetts is seeking an Early Childhood Instructional Coach to empower teachers with resources, support, and professional development to help young children excel daily.

You will lead curriculum implementation, mentor teachers, engage families, and model high-quality practice in an anti-bias, developmentally appropriate program.

Qualifications

• CDA certification required with plan to complete an associate degree.
• Associate or higher degree in early childhood education preferred.
• Minimum three years of teaching experience in quality child care settings.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team in implementing high-quality, developmentally appropriate curriculum aligned with our philosophy and anti-bias education.
• Be a curriculum expert and use educational quality tools to assess and enhance program implementation.
• Partner and communicate effectively with families, while mentoring new teachers and serving as a role model for the teaching team.

Qualifications

• Candidate must be a Certified Diabetes Educator (CDA) with an educational plan to complete an associate degree. (CDA required.)
• Associate or higher degree in early childhood education or child development related field is preferred.
• At least three years of professional experience teaching in high-quality child care, daycare, or preschool settings is required.
• Experience working in a NAEYC-accredited center is preferred.

Physical Requirements

This leadership role requires working in person in an early education/preschool child care center to provide center supervision, curriculum delivery, business management, and customer and client services per Bright Horizons policies and procedures. The position involves office, computer, and phone work as well as in‑person supervision of care delivery and employees, family interactions, and the ability to temporarily serve as a supervising caregiver when needed.

Compensation

The hourly rate for this position is between $57,500 and $71,900 annually.
