Responsibilities

• Engage children in activities that stimulate their cognitive, social, and physical development.
• Assist children with activities of daily life.
• Approach parents daily and speak with them about their child's day.
• Help facilitate daily activities, using developmentally appropriate practice.
• Create and maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment.
• Establish a professional level of rapport with each family member.
• Assist the Lead Teacher in implementing curriculum and planning daily activities.
• Attend and engage in family events and staff events that may occur in evening or weekends.
• Assist with the completion of daily sheets.
• Communicate with the Lead Teacher regarding all aspects regarding all aspects of the children's care as well as classroom management.
• Maintain a professional image and project the values of TBDC at all times.
