  • Manage center budget, forecast expenses, oversee supply ordering, and ensure responsible resource management.
  • Partner with corporate leadership to align center operations with organizational goals and initiatives.
Staff Management:

  • Oversee health, safety, and sanitation practices throughout the center.
  • Guide curriculum implementation and ensure developmentally appropriate practices in every classroom.
  • Manage licensing inspections and maintain all required documentation in audit-ready condition.
Family & Community Relations:
  • Build strong, trusting relationships with families and serve as the primary point of contact for escalated parent concerns.
  • Resolve parent inquiries and conflicts professionally, promptly, and with empathy.
  • Plan and lead family engagement events, open houses, and community-building activities.
  • Represent Novastar Kids Co in the broader community and cultivate partnerships that support our mission.
  • Provide classroom coverage as needed to maintain ratios and support staff.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or related field required; Master's degree preferred.
  • Colorado Shines PDIS 3.0 Level 4 or higher with Large Center Director Certification.
  • 5+ years of experience in early childhood education, including 3+ years in a supervisory or director-level role.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Colorado childcare licensing regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Demonstrated experience with Colorado Shines quality rating system and achieving high quality ratings.
  • Proven leadership skills with a track record of coaching, mentoring, and motivating high-performing teams.
