Job summary

Learning Care Group is seeking a Director to lead school operations and staff, promoting growth and adherence to licensing standards. The role focuses on creating a safe, educational environment for children while keeping parents informed of progress.

You will recruit and guide a team, implement the curriculum, coach teachers, and ensure the school meets state requirements. The position emphasizes leadership, budget awareness, and community presence.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• CDA, Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree preferred in Early Childhood Education or related field.
• Must meet Illinois licensing requirements for a Child Care Director.
• Illinois Director Qualification: minimum Associate Degree in ECE/Child Development or equivalent coursework.
• 2 years of management experience supervising at least six non-exempt staff; experience in ECE preferred.

Job Responsibilities:

Job Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• CDA, Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree preferred in Early Childhood Education or related field.
• Must meet Illinois licensing requirements for a Child Care Director, including required education/coursework and applicable early childhood experience.
• Illinois Director Qualification: Must have a minimum of an Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education/Child Development OR equivalent college coursework that meets Illinois requirements, including required coursework in Early Childhood Education/Child Development and Child Care Administration, Leadership, or Management.
• 2 years management experience of at least six non-exempt associates; experience in early childhood education strongly preferred.

• Starting range $60,000
