Job summary

Keystone Human Services seeks a full-time Behavior Guidance Specialist to support a comprehensive child development program. You will develop and implement behavioral interventions and provide classroom support, guided by observations to improve social-emotional outcomes.

Ideal candidates hold an associate degree or 60 credits toward a bachelor’s, with experience with preschool children and ability to guide families and staff on positive behavior strategies.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or 60 credits toward a bachelor’s degree in early childhood education, special education, psychology or related field.
• Minimum of one year teaching or classroom experience with preschool children or related experience.
• Experience managing challenging behaviors and knowledge of social-emotional development.
• Familiar with adult learning principles and delivering interactive professional development.
• Intermediate computer skills: Word, Excel, Outlook; able to learn web-based systems.
• Valid driver’s license and access to insured vehicle or transportation.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement behavioral interventions and deliver classroom support based on observations.
• Provide education and guidance to families and colleagues on social-emotional development and positive classroom guidance.
• Maintain high-quality behavioral services and contribute to ongoing training opportunities.
