Precious Angels Prep is seeking an Assistant Teacher to support lead teachers by working with individual children and small groups. The role requires strong communication, patience, and a team-oriented mindset to foster a positive classroom environment.

Responsibilities include preparing materials, supervising students on campus and field trips, and assisting with special needs, attendance, and clerical tasks while adhering to licensing requirements.

Qualificações

• Minimum qualification requires CDA credential or Associate degree in Early Childhood.
• Proven experience working with children.
• Good communication and organizational skills.
• Patient, positive and team-oriented.
• Ability to meet all state licensing and background-check requirements.

Responsabilidades

• Assist and tutor children individually and in small groups under the lead teacher's guidance.
• Prepare lesson materials, bulletin boards, exhibits and equipment.
• Supervise children in classrooms, other areas on campus and on field trips.
• Follow and enforce school rules.
• Observe and record student performance to help assess progress.
• Provide extra assistance to children with special needs as requested.
• Take attendance and maintain attendance records.
• Participate in staff meetings and committees, and help with clerical tasks.
