Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; coursework in Early Childhood Education preferred.
• Previous experience with young children in childcare, preschool, or similar setting preferred.
• Basic understanding of classroom procedures and willingness to learn licensing and compliance requirements.
• Must meet state education, certification (including CPR/First Aid where required), licensing, and regulatory requirements; ability to pass background check and ongoing professional development.
• Effective communication and collaborative approach with children, families, and team members.

Responsibilities

• Create a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom environment for all children.
• Support daily activities and curriculum implementation with the lead teacher.
• Provide active supervision, ensuring safety and required ratios.
• Support children's development through positive guidance, interaction, and play.
