Job summary

MultiCare Health System is seeking a dedicated team member to support a Lead Teacher in delivering developmentally appropriate activities for children. The role emphasizes safety, cleanliness, and caring for the well-being of each child in a supportive environment.

Responsibilities include assisting with program activities, maintaining cleanliness standards, and contributing to a positive, inclusive classroom culture within our community-based setting.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• State ECE Initial Certificate within 5 years of hire.
• Previous experience working with children required.
• Valid photo identification card required.
• CPR/First Aid certification required.
• Washington State (DOH) Food Handler's card required.
• Completion of 30-Hour STARS Basic courses within 6 months of hire, or educational exemption, required.
• Negative TB Test within 12 months at time of hire required.
• Annual BBP/HIV training required.
• Background check (DCYF) required within 14 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist lead teacher in implementing activities meeting physical, emotional, intellectual and social needs of children.
• Perform cleaning and sanitizing duties as needed.
