Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (required).
• 1+ year of experience working with children ages 6 weeks – 5 years (preferred).
• Passion for early childhood education and a joyful, caring attitude.
• Meets all Tennessee state licensing requirements for early childhood staff.
• Reliable and professional with consistent attendance.
• Builds positive relationships and communicates effectively with children, parents, and team members.

Responsibilities

• Support the Lead Teacher in planning and implementing engaging, age-appropriate curriculum.
• Nurture each child’s emotional, social, and cognitive development.
• Engage with children during learning, play, and transitions.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom environment.
• Build positive relationships with families and communicate regularly.
• Collaborate with other teachers and school leaders to ensure excellence in every classroom.
