Job summary

Big Blue Marble Academy is seeking an Early Child Care Assistant Teacher to join our on-site team in Leesville, SC. You will partner with the Lead Teacher to deliver daily activities and closely monitor each child's milestones using electronic tracking.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience with children; daycare or preschool preferred.
• Early childhood coursework, CDA or degree preferred.
• Must be able to stand 6–8 hours daily while working with children.
• Must lift up to 30 pounds.
• Must visually supervise children at all times.

Responsibilities

• Work with the Lead Teacher to facilitate daily activities and ensure the classroom runs smoothly.
• Partner with families to nurture and care for children; document milestones with electronic tracking.
• Follow enhanced safety guidelines to keep the classroom clean and safe.
