Job summary

The Consortium of Jewish Day Schools in Pittsburgh is seeking an early childhood educator for infants through Pre-K. Shifts run 8:00 am–5:00 pm, Monday–Friday, with both full-time and part-time options available.

Your role includes creating age-appropriate lesson plans, providing a safe, nurturing classroom, and fostering a love of learning. You will manage behavior, engage families, and collaborate with staff to support student growth.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience with young children in childcare or educational setting.
• Knowledge of early childhood development principles.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage a classroom and create a positive learning environment.
• Patience, compassion, and genuine love for working with children.

Job description

Working with children infants through Pre-K age. Different shifts available, both full and part time, between 8:00 am and 5:00 pm Monday-Friday.
