Job summary

Brightway Living & Learning is seeking an Early Childhood Aide Instructor in New York. The role supports individuals with disabilities in classroom settings, assisting with daily living activities and collaborating with teachers and staff to implement plans.

Flexible shifts available, with pay hourly between $17.00 and $20.40 for part-time or full-time work. Applicants should have a High School Diploma, at least 6 college credits, and NYS Level I TA certification within 6 months.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Minimum 6 college credits.
• Must possess NYS Level I Teaching Assistant certification within 6 months from entering this position.

Responsibilities

• Set up and maintain classroom materials and supplies.
• Assist with bussing at arrival and dismissal.
• Follow lead of classroom teacher.
• Implement outlined behavior treatment plans.
• Supervise children during classroom activities.
• Demonstrate knowledge of outlined curriculum and IFSP/IEP goals.
• Assist children in all daily living activities.
• Work collaboratively with classroom staff and team members.
• Other duties as assigned.
