Job summary

WTW's Graduate Development Program offers a 17-month, non-rotational opportunity designed to build a broad knowledge base across risk management and brokerage. Participants begin with orientation and robust onboarding, gaining hands-on experience and a holistic view of the industry.

The program emphasizes learning through structured training while developing relationships with clients and carriers, preparing graduates for future full-time opportunities. Start date is August 2, 2027.

Qualifications

  • Must have completed a WTW 2026 summer internship.
  • Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 3.0 GPA.
  • Preferred majors include Risk Management, Business, Finance, Economics, Accounting, Liberal Arts, Geology (BS), Environmental Geology (BS), Sociology.
  • Date of Graduation between May 2026 – May 2027.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel skills.
  • Demonstration of strong time and task management skills.
  • Ability to interface with customers and collaborate internally to serve customers.
  • Able to work legally in the United States indefinitely and without Visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

  • Gather information and analytics to assess and evaluate client risks to support the placement of client risks into the market.
  • Create Loss Summaries, review program binders for accuracy, check policies, and aid brokers and senior brokers.
  • Prepare draft submission documents and finalize submissions for delivery.
  • Review quotes against specifications and develop side-by-side comparisons.
  • Prepare program proposals.
  • Develop client and prospect presentations to secure new and build on existing relationships.
  • Assist on deliverables for Client Renewal Strategy Meetings and RFPs.
  • Research market solutions to identify and develop optimum risk solutions for clients.
  • Facilitate initial introductions to carrier and trading partners.
  • Begin understanding of core insurance principles and brokerage concepts.
  • Ensure quality and compliance procedures and processes are adhered to.
  • Record and maintain information on systems including Broking Platform.
  • Obtain the required insurance license within ninety (90) days of hire and maintain surplus lines license within 120 days.

Graduate Program Overview

The CRB Graduate Development Program (GDP) is a non-rotational 17-month program that provides the opportunity to develop a broad knowledge base, varied skills, and diverse network. This program is designed to set you up with a holistic view of CRB with hands-on experience, insight, and opportunities to make an impact and shape your own career.

GDP participants will be immersed in a 1-week orientation followed by a robust onboarding training learning about various functions within CRB. Our program is designed to provide graduates with a well-rounded understanding of the industry while having the opportunity to deep dive within their respective business area.

Placement Overview

WTW’s Placement teams deliver superior results for our clients’ business and risk management needs through deep product and industry expertise. The role of a broker is to help our clients mitigate their total cost of risk. The Placement team operates as the firm’s intellectual capital where we work with our clients to assess, model, and structure risk. Once modeled, the broker personally escorts the clients’ risk into the market and draws upon their market relationships and their negotiation skills to secure quotations from the insurance carriers. While the nature of the work is similar day-to-day, no two placements are the same and common tasks may include: preparing and sending out submissions, liaising with markets, analyzing exposures, working through risk models, and negotiating quotations.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure that quality and compliance procedures and processes are adhered to.
  • Record and maintain all information accurately on the appropriate systems, including initial introduction to and utilization of Broking Platform.
  • Obtain the required insurance license within ninety (90) days of your date of hire (as such date is recorded in the Company’s business records).
  • You must also obtain and maintain an active surplus lines license for your resident state within 120 days of either: (a) your date of hire, if you already hold a resident state insurance license upon your date of hire; or (b) within 120 days of obtaining your resident state insurance license, if you do not already hold a resident state insurance license upon your date of hire

Compensation and Benefits

Base salary range and benefits information for this position are being includedin accordance withrequirements of various state/local pay transparency legislation. Please note that salaries may vary for different individuals in the same role based on several factors, including but not limited to location of the role, individual competencies, education/professional certifications, qualifications/experience, performance in the role and potential for revenue generation (Producer roles only).

Compensation and Benefits

The hourly rate being offered for this role is $36.00hr – $39.00hr USD. This role is also eligible for overtime.
