Job summary

Clay Labs in New York is seeking early-career engineers who recently graduated or are nearing graduation in computer science, with hands-on software experience from internships, coursework, or hackathons. You will join an AI-forward environment that values curiosity and collaboration.

Qualifications

• You're recently graduated or graduating with a Computer Science degree or a related field

• You have some hands-on experience building software — through 2 previous internships and coursework, personal projects, or hackathons.

• AI enthusiast: You have built or prototyped features with AI technologies (LLMs, embeddings, ML) and are interested in learning more at an AI forward company!

• Thoughtful problem-solving: For you, problem-solving starts with a clear and accurate understanding of the context. You can decompose tricky problems and work towards a clean solution, by yourself or with teammates. You're comfortable asking for help when you get stuck.

• You love to collaborate with others to ship high quality, thoughtful features. You're curious about talking to customers, thinking through different approaches, and working with teammates to find the right solution.

• Diversity of perspectives and interests. We hope to build a team that is curious, and open-minded.

• You're familiar with some of our tech stack, or excited to learn quickly. Our current tech stack is:
