Job summary

Applied Intuition, Inc. in Sunnyvale seeks an early-career Research Engineer to advance cutting-edge physical AI for autonomous driving and robotic generalist systems. You will translate strong academic research into shipped autonomy tech and collaborate with a world-class research group.

You will work with ADAS, simulation and robotics teams, access millions of miles of data, publish high-quality research, and help deploy methods into real-world products with fast-paced customer impact.

Qualifications

• MSc or PhD in machine learning and computer vision with autonomy and robotics applications or related field; graduation by Dec 2026 or Summer 2027.
• Strong engineering and research skills; able to work independently and in teams.
• Experience in world-action foundation models, RL, or multi-modal learning is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with ADAS stack engineering to test and deploy end-to-end algorithms for mass production vehicles.
• Collaborate with simulation team to deploy data-driven generation algorithms for tools.
• Research architecture design, robustness, safety, and language modality for differentiable stack.
• Work with researchers and interns on high-quality publications for top conferences.
