This position involves conducting field investigations and assisting the project team in evaluating and reporting field investigation results under the supervision of a senior professional.

Responsibilities include:

1. Supporting the preparation of technical documents such as quality assurance project plans, monitoring/sampling plans, health and safety plans, field records, and regulatory reports.
2. Performing assignments that require application of standardized techniques, procedures, and criteria.
3. Conducting field observations and sampling of environmental media (soil, groundwater, soil vapor, sediment, etc.).
4. Compiling and evaluating technical data and coordinating with laboratories.
5. Managing environmental data and databases.
6. Communicating with subcontractors and team members.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Geology, Civil/Environmental Engineering, or related field; Master’s degree is a plus. 0-2 years of experience preferred.
• Experience with data management, review, and analysis.
• Excellent organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, work independently, and as part of a team.
• 40-hour OSHA HAZWOPER certification is a plus.
• Valid driver’s license and a clear driving record.
• Willingness to travel.
